Everything you need to know about fee-only financial advice, SEBI registration, and how Advisoira works — written for people who want straight answers.
Understanding Fee-Only Advice
A SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) is a financial adviser licensed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to provide investment advice for a fee. Unlike mutual fund distributors, RIAs are legally required to act in the best interest of their clients and cannot earn commissions from financial products. Advisoira is a SEBI RIA with registration number INA000022321.
A fee-only financial adviser earns money exclusively from fees paid by clients — not from commissions, trail income, or referral fees from financial products. This means their advice is not influenced by what products pay the most. Advisoira is fee-only: we charge a flat fee or percentage of AUA, and earn nothing from any product we recommend.
Mutual fund distributors earn commissions from fund houses when they sell products to you. This creates a conflict of interest — they may recommend funds that pay higher commissions rather than funds that are best for you. Advisoira earns nothing from product sales. Our only income is the fee you pay us directly, so our recommendations are purely based on your goals, risk tolerance, and situation.
Search the SEBI Intermediary Portal at sebi.gov.in. Look for the adviser's registration number and confirm their name, registration status, and validity. Advisoira's registration number is INA000022321 under the name Partha Harshal Deshpande. Always verify before engaging any financial adviser in India.
A financial planner helps you build a comprehensive plan covering goals, cashflow, insurance, tax, and investment strategy. A portfolio manager executes trades and manages investments on your behalf. Advisoira is a financial adviser and planner — we advise on what to do and help you implement it, but we do not take custody of your money or execute trades directly.
Working with Advisoira
Advisoira works best with professionals building serious long-term wealth, founders with concentrated equity or irregular income, and families who want structured intergenerational planning. If you have financial complexity to manage and want conflict-free advice, Advisoira is likely a good fit.
A 30-minute call covering your current financial situation, key goals, and whether our approach is a good fit. There is no sales pitch. You will walk away with a clear next-step roadmap regardless of whether you choose to proceed. A ₹149 booking fee applies to ensure both parties come prepared and committed — this is credited toward your first engagement if you proceed.
No. Advisoira provides advice and recommendations — you retain full control of your investments. We do not take custody of your funds, operate a demat account on your behalf, or execute trades directly. This keeps us fully conflict-free and aligned with your interests.
Under the Annual Advisory plan, you receive quarterly portfolio reviews — four structured sessions per year covering portfolio performance, rebalancing decisions, life-event updates, and behavioral coaching. Additional sessions can be arranged for major financial events like job changes, inheritance, or large purchases.
Yes. Advisoira incorporates tax-aware planning into all advisory work — capital gains planning, asset location strategy, withdrawal sequencing for retirement, and tax drag assessment across your portfolio. We work alongside your CA for tax filing but handle the investment-related tax strategy ourselves.
Advisoira can work with NRIs on financial planning for India-based assets, goals, and investments. NRI-specific tax treatment, FEMA compliance, and repatriation considerations can be incorporated into the advisory framework. Reach out via the discovery call to discuss your specific situation.
Yes. All client information shared with Advisoira is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with third parties. As a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, Advisoira is bound by SEBI's code of conduct, which includes strict confidentiality obligations.
Fees and Pricing
Three tiers: (1) Planning Blueprint — ₹25,000 one-time for a comprehensive financial plan with 2 sessions; (2) Annual Advisory — ₹10,000 flat or 0.6% of AUA, whichever is higher, for ongoing quarterly reviews and portfolio advisory; (3) Family Office Lite — custom pricing for complex family and founder situations.
The small booking fee ensures both sides come prepared and committed. It filters for serious, high-intent prospective clients and ensures the conversation is productive. The ₹149 is fully credited toward your first engagement if you decide to proceed.
Investment Philosophy
Behavioral coaching helps investors recognize and manage emotional reactions to market volatility — like panic-selling during a crash or chasing returns in a bull run. At Advisoira, behavioral coaching is built into every quarterly review: we help clients stay disciplined to their long-term plan when short-term market noise creates pressure to act reactively.
No. Advisoira's investment philosophy is built on evidence-based principles: asset allocation drives long-term outcomes more than stock selection, costs and taxes compound silently, and discipline outperforms reaction. We do not make short-term tactical market calls or recommend individual stocks based on predictions.
