Plain-English explanations of every number on this dashboard — no finance degree needed.
Every ETF has an underlying value (its NAV). If the market price is lower than that value, it is at a discount — you are getting it slightly cheap. If the price is higher, it is at a premium — you are paying a little extra. Ideally, buy at a discount or at par.
During market hours, the underlying stocks in an ETF keep moving. Live Fair Value (iNAV) is a real-time estimate of what the ETF basket is worth at this moment. Think of it as the "correct price" — if the traded price is below this, the ETF is cheap right now.
Buying and selling an ETF has a small cost (brokerage, spread). Net Edge checks if the discount is larger than those costs — meaning you would actually benefit from it. A positive Net Edge means the opportunity is real. A negative one means the discount is too small to act on.
Trader Signal tells you if the discount is big enough for a short-term opportunity. Investor Signal tells you whether the ETF looks like a good long-term entry point right now — useful for deciding when to place your SIP or lump sum.
